Castaway was shown as a foal and lightly as a yearling, he was Youngstock Champion at the Victorian All welsh under judge Megan Lewis of the Cwrtycadno Stud UK. He then had a long break from the show ring making an appearance in 2019 to win Champion Stallion at The Victorian All Welsh Show and Reserve Champion at the South Australian All Welsh Show. Castaway has only been lightly used as a sire but has produced quality, welshness and temperament.
